Skiers and riders should be confident on un-groomed black terrain. Expert level preferred/required.Start your day right by meeting your backcountry guide at 8:30 a.m. and riding the early Tram or Gondola to the top of the Mountain, where you learn the basics of performing an avalanche transceiver search and then exit the gates to begin your adventure.
What comes next is up to you! Want to tour all day for one epic run? Do you prefer less hiking and more skiing? Are you curious about snow science? Professional backcountry guides create a fun and educational day in the backcountry customized to your interests.
For a successful day in the backcountry, make sure that you come prepared with the right gear and equipment. Note that backcountry gear rentals are only available for clients with a Mountain Sports School backcountry booking.

Boasting some of the most accessible backcountry skiing in America and an abundance of moderate slopes, Teton Pass is a great spot for expert powder skiers.
