You’ve heard the rumblings. It’s hard not to. Old man winter has been relentless since February began, and that’s exactly how we like it here in Jackson Hole! Deep powder conditions have now become the norm in Teton Village over the last two weeks, and doesn’t appear to be letting up anytime soon! We’ve recorded snowfall for 12 days in a row and it seems the skiing and riding conditions are nearly perfect here in Teton Village. 97″ have fallen this February in Rendezvous Bowl, making it the deepest February to date, on record.  The average snowfall for this period is 31″ in Rendezvous Bowl, and preceded by a 92″ record in 2017,

If waking up to the sounds of avalanche mitigation is your bag, then you’ve come to the right spot. Our ski patrol has done an excellent job keeping the mountain safe throughout the storms and opening at a reasonable hour with safe conditions for all. Props to #JHSP.

Our winter storm warning continues until Friday night with snow falling throughout the President’s Day weekend, giving visitors and locals something to drool over. Grab your fat skis and swallow-tailed boards, its a full on powder party out there. Check out the forecast for the weekend and photos of what we found on the mountain this morning!

Tuesday’s excitement was all around the 2nd annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s event, which pleased viewers, on mountain and remotely, top athlete’s incredible talents jumping into Corbet’s Couloir. The weather window was nailed, as the several hour event was surrounded by more snow. Stay tuned for results, photos, and video edits from the event. And don’t forget the crowning party is this Saturday night, at the Pink Garter Theater, featuring Pharcyde, presented by Freeskier
