The Aerial Tram will operate during summer after a two-year hiatus beginning on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The first 100 people to ride the Tram will receive free JHMR Tram swag! We’re excited to welcome guests back onto Big Red for the best scenic ride around. Click here to purchase your Tram ticket in advance and save $7

Corbet’s Cabin will be open and serving waffles! Be advised, winter conditions exist at the summit, so please plan and dress accordingly. That being said, skiing or riding in-bounds is strictly prohibited and ski patrol is not on active duty. You may proceed into the backcountry via the gate near the summit if you wish to ski or ride, but always have the proper knowledge, a partner, and a plan.

As the icon of JHMR, we count on the Tram to carry guests to their next grand adventure each winter and summer. Every 12 years, this workhorse requires scheduled maintenance to ensure that operations continue to run smoothly. Our dedicated Tram team accomplished this over the last two summers. Last summer, we spoke to Lead Tram Mechanic Mike Vase to gain insight into what he and his team needed to accomplish.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 21 when we welcome the Tram back for summer operations. The Tram operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Our summer season kicks off on June 11 with opening day at the Jackson Hole Bike Park. Our first event of the summer is Teton Gravity Research’s premiere of their new mountain bike film, Esperanto on June 18 in Teton Village.
