Bike season is upon us, and the trails are ripping! Every fall before snow blankets the Tetons the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) Park and Pipe/ Trail Crew flattens the berms, jumps and features located on the groomed runs off of Teewinot. All winter long the groomers meticulously groom the slopes flat with perfect corduroy for eager skiers and riders learning to slide down the mountain. Little rippers and the Mountain Sports School love to wind through the trees off of Teewinot riding the berms and bike trails which they have aptly named the “animal trails.”

Rebuild after a long winter

In the spring the JHMR Bike Park reveals itself beat up and flattened from a long winter covered in snow. The trail crew has now been hard at work for over a month reconstructing every feature located on the groomers and buffing out the trails winding through the trees. The crew takes great pride in their work and every year changes up the jumps, berms and routes.

Hard at work

Members of the trail crew are not only experts at building the Bike Park they also are connoisseurs of riding dirt. The crew absolutely shreds riding bikes, they test every feature and line making the trails perfect and keep it maintained for the season. The Bike Park opens this Saturday and the trail crew can’t wait to show our guests their finished product.
