JH Insider is your portal into everything that is happening at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.  The powerful JH Insider app provides users with everything they need to know to have the best on-mountain experience possible.  The app also provides users data on their day on the mountain.  The app is updated regularly with new features to ensure the best tech is integrated into your JHMR experience. If you aren’t a JH Insider, do yourself a favor and download it now

NEW jh insider app FEATURES winter 2020/21

1. Replay My Day – released 2/9/21 – My Stats>Most Recent Day or Days

This is the newest feature, which was JUST released. This allows you to go back to any day (since this release) and watch an animated version of your entire tracked ski day! Too slow? Tap the >> to speed up, or just scroll back and forth on the slider to get to your desired part of your day.


2. Tram Wait Times – released 11/26/20 – >Lift/Trail Status
This new feature is controlled by the lift/RFID gate attendants. They change this estimation as the time changes throughout the day. This estimation is the same that is shown on the outdoor digital signs.

Whether you are a local or visiting Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the first time, the JH Insider App is the essential tool to elevate your experience. With new features and enhancements, the App continues to be the best way to stay informed to maximize your day, the one go-to resource any visitor needs when planning a trip or in resort.

3. Group Challenges – released mid winter 2020 – My Stats>Leaderboards>Group Challenges
Group Challenges
While the ‘Public’ leaderboard allows anyone to wants to opt in to join, the ‘Group Challenges’ allows you to create your own private challenges. Create up to 5 Group Challenges, and send the unique link to your buddies to compete with them on vertical feet, days skied, and lifts ridden! Opt in or out of these as you seen fit, but remember, once you’ve opted out, your stats will start over if you rejoin. Rejoin by clicking on the original link you or your friends texted. This feature is also great to use in the summer for hiking, or new this summer – biking!


4. Grooming Map/Closed Trails Overlay – released 12/15/20 – Maps>Layers toggle button
Grooming LayersThis allows you to visually see all the closed trails, groomed trails, and lift wait times, directly overlaying the trail map. Toggle to your heart’s content and go cruise your favorite groomers. Want to know if the Headwall or Crags are open while riding Thunder? Turn on the Closed Trails toggle for a quick glance. You can also get to this screen from the Lift & Trail Status page from the bottom Grooming Report button.


5. View your Historical Stats – released Fall 2020 – My Stats>Current Season>Change


Select the Change button, and view your historical stats back to the 2005/06 season! Compare with your friends for most trams or days rode in a season!
Note, this is just counting days and lifts when you were scanned, and does not include your app tracked data (as the JH Insider wasn’t around back prior to 2019)


6. Need more lift tickets?
Homepage
Click on the Lift Ticket button on the homepage and when you’re logged into our online store for the first time, you’re logged in for all future purchases, whether it’s lift tickets, rentals, or Mountain Sports School lessons. This is a great segway into our personalized JH Insider website experience, for more stats, days skied, and order and rental history, all put into a slick calendar view. This feature will be rolled out March 2021.


7. Leaderboard Stats My Stats>Leaderboards
Leaderboards
This is a shoutout to you fierce competitors in the public leaderboards. As of 2/9/21, Benajamin A. is crushing the season-long lead with 75 days on mountain, 1.7M vertical feet, and close to 1K lifts rode. If you want to join the leaderboard and you’re not currently in, navigate to the More Menu>Settings & Contact>Edit Leaderboard Settings>Leaderboard Visibility.
