UPDATE: 11.9.22: Another 11" fell in the past 24 hours, bringing our season total to 69" with a base of 36" in Rendezvous Bowl!
Yet another early season storm arrived in Jackson Hole on Friday, Nov. 4 and since then, JHMR has received over 3 feet of snow! After a spectacular bluebird day revealed glistening white slopes on Sunday, Nov. 6, we are back in the wintery flow.
Per OpenSnow's Jackson Hole Daily Snow Forecast, the "Friday-Saturday storm delivered 15-20 inches of high-moisture content snow in the Tetons above 8,000 feet. A persistent south/southwest flow will transport ample amounts of Pacific moisture into Western Wyoming this week. Several pulses of heavy snow likely in the Monday to Wednesday timeframe, followed by lighter snow on the backside on Thursday. Moderate-to-heavy snow is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. After the low moves through sometime on Wednesday, backside snow showers are a strong possibility with west/northwest winds on Thursday." They predict that following this week of winter weather, we could see snow totals of 14-29" at mid-to-upper elevations at JHMR!
Opening Day is Friday, November 25. Stay tuned on our channels as we approach the start of another incredible winter at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Through the Lens: Stephen Shelesky
Reflecting on seeing Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the first time in 2016, I felt an overwhelming sense that possibilities were vast and endless. Wide-eyed and a bit naïve, I solely envisioned the long-awaited fulfillment of my dreams as I stepped off the Aerial Tram at the summit. Immediately, I knew this place would transform my life. I also knew it was exactly where I was supposed to be, an elusive feeling many in their early twenties yearn to feel.

Fall in the Tetons
While every season brings its own unique beauty, I personally find fall to be the most stunning. The changing tone of the leaves adds pops of color that help bring out the rugged features of the terrain. Every drive feels magical again, even if you've been driving that same road every day of the year. And the cool, crisp air energizes you, like the purest cup of coffee imaginable.
