Winter is nearly upon us in Jackson Hole, as Opening Day on Nov. 24 marks the beginning of another season full of opportunities. We receive 400"-500" of average annual snowfall, adding to the allure of our home for travelers in search of unforgettable powder days and breathtaking views atop the Aerial Tram. This is the year to experience the majesty of Jackson Hole and we've come up with some accommodation recommendations for your visit, courtesy of Jackson Hole Resort Lodging (JHRL).
Great Value
Balsam Lodge A8: With a livable layout and ample light, this Aspens condo couples relaxation and convenience. Located close to the Aspens public transit stop, you're less than 10 minutes down the road from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Our public transit is a free and convenient way to get to the mountain and avoid pricey parking. There's also a community market and liquor store within walking distance, as well as shops, restaurants, and a cafe. This family-friendly accommodation has 2 bunkrooms, and open concept living area, and enough space for a small family looking for a stellar place at more reasonable prices.
Great Extended Stay
19th Hole: This stunning 4,300 square foot home is located at the Teton Pines Resort and Country Club and a short jaunt to all the aformentioned Aspens amenities. This 4BD/4.5BA luxury home is going to be your winter oasis, as it's available for long-term rentals in excess of 30 days.
Patrick Garden home: another excellent option for those wishing to escape to the winter haven of Jackson Hole for an extended period of time. January and February are our snowiest months; think of all the powder days you could enjoy, not to mention watching the spectacle of Kings & Queens of Corbet's (Feb. 3-10). This unit is located in the Aspens area as well.
Great Ski Access
Tram Tower 3511: Make a splash with this ski in/ski out luxury accommodation. If convenience is what you're looking for, look no further. This 4BD/5.5BA unit located in the Tram Tower complex sits in the heart of Teton Village, a stone’s throw away from the lifts, boutiques, bars and restaurants that make the Village a bustling place to be all winter. It's also just a few minutes walk to the Mangy Moose for après ski libations and fare.
Après Vous Lodge: One of our favorite units, this ski in/ski out luxury home boasts 5BD/5BA and is conveniently located just across the slope from the Après Vous Lift (literally a snowball's throw away). Slope-side hot tub and stunning architectural features make this accommodation incredibly special.
Great Après Ski
Moose Creek 2: Conveniently located in the heart of Teton Village, this accommodation provides quick access to the slopes and invites apres ski vibes after a day on the mountain. Complete with many state-of-the-art amenities and a private hot tub, this 3BD/4.5BA is a perfect place to kick back after an unforgettable day at JHMR.
Granite Ridge Lodge 16: this 5BD/4.5BA unit provides exceptional access to JHMR's slopes. With a private hot tub and inviting western decor, look no further for a luxurious home base on your winter getaway to Jackson Hole.
