Aaron Davis and the Mystery Machine & The Lonesome Heroes

July 27, 2025 (5 PM)

“An essential force in the Americana roots music scene” (KHOL 89.1FM), Aaron Davis & The Mystery Machine were likened to heroes by Wyoming Public Radio as “the vibe of The Band going throughout.” The quartet sets the stage with poetic amplitude, three-part vocal harmony and a deep well of sonic textures in a downhome fusion of Wyo-Americana, roots-country, ‘70s soul-rock, pensive indie-folk, and “searing slide guitar" (Country Weekly). Over the course of a dozen albums of original music, Davis has been described as a “truly phenomenal songwriter” (Americana UK) with “a combination that goes down like top-shelf bourbon” (Austin Chronicle). The Lonesome Heroes have been dancing the line between indie, country, and Americana sounds for nearly two decades in Austin, Texas. Seasons Change paints a picture of sonic and scenic landmarks - a mural of musical influences inspired by interstate miles. Restless rock & roll, lackadaisical honky-tonk and a modern take on Cosmic American Music all converge here in the sixth album of the Heroes discography.

The Nude Party

August 3, 2025 (5 PM)

For The Nude Party, nearly a decade has flown by in the blink of an eye. In that time, the New York-based band has released a pair of well-received albums, an EP, and played countless shows. Prior to the pandemic, the band was really starting to hit its stride. They had a system in place and were spreading their brand of melodic rock to the masses. In fact, they could count Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Orville Peck as vocal supporters, which led to support slots for each. Soon, incredible live appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and Shaky Knees became the norm.

Float Like a Buffalo

August 10, 2025 (5 PM)

Float Like a Buffalo is rock with funk, ska, reggae, and jam influences. Nods to the funk of Lettuce and The Motet, jam of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, rock of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chicago Transit Authority, soul of James Brown, & high-energy guitar licks of Jimi Hendrix all combine to make a unique sound that’s impossible not to dance to.

High Step Society

August 17, 2024 (5 PM)

High Step Society is a high-flying, beat-dropping, big band dance party with an ear to the past, and both feet on the gas. Sultry and effervescent, low-down, dirty and mean, this dynamic EDM-infused seven-piece band is bringing jazz back to the dancefloor where it belongs. Based out of Portland, OR, High Step Society has been a favorite of the US festival scene since it’s creation in 2015, touring year-round and sharing stages with a wide range of acts from Beats Antique and The Polish Ambassador to Zion I and Dirtwire. Their fusion of hard-hitting beats with seductive vocals and horns has made them a top performance choice for dancers and burlesque artists worldwide. Capturing the spirit of the Jazz Age and launching it a century forward, this band breaks down the divisions between us and replaces them with the irresistible urge to dance together.
