What does RPK3 mean?
Every winter afternoon, the National Weather Service for the Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center announces their snow prediction for Rendezvous Mountain Peak. RPK3 means greater than six inches of snow over the next sixteen hours, so in layman’s terms… POWDER DAY!
