The mountain biking community in Jackson Hole is vibrant. But for some who are just beginning their foray into the sport, finding a group to grow with can sometimes be a challenge. That's where ILLA, a "supercharged networking app for outdoor women+ everywhere", comes through in the clutch. On Sunday, June 25, ILLA and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort partnered to bring a fun day of mountain biking to the women of our community. Ladies who attended rode for free had the opportunity to participate in two mini clinics, guided by Jackson Hole Sports Bike Guides. Following a sunny day of laps, we hosted an apres happy hour and raffle at RPK3

Here's how ILLA works:

  1. Download the app & sign up
  2. Choose your activites & skill level
  3. Set your schedule for when you're free
  4. Suggest an adventure
  5. Activate the ILLA signal
  6. Meet your matches, make friends, & make plans

We're elated to say that more than 70 women participated in this unique, new event, many of whom had never been to a Bike Park or even been on a mountain bike. If you couldn't make it, there are a few options for you to tap into the growing women's mountain bike community: 1) sign up with ILLA 2) sign up for Ladie's Laps, every Thursday 3-5pm 3) ride laps every week throughout the summer at Sunday Funday and stay for live music in the Teton Village Commons.

We hope to see more bikers finding their flow and growing their community at the Jackson Hole Bike Park this summer! View photos from the event below.
