Join us in celebrating National Forest Week this week through July 16! Here at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, we're incredibly grateful to call the wonderous Bridger-Teton National Forest home. With its pristine watersheds, abundant wildlife and immense wildlands, the Bridger-Teton National Forest comprises a large part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest intact ecosystem in the lower 48. If you've ever visited us, we hope you'll share our gratitude and reflect on the enormous benefits that outdoor recreation provides.

It's all Bridger-Teton National Forest land

Across the United States, National Forests encompass 193 million acres of publicly-accessible land. These areas play a vital role in helping us connect with the outdoors, connect with ourselves and others in beautiful locations, and protect lands vital to fighting climate change.

Here are a few way you can get involved and join the celebration from wherever you are!

  • Enter the Photo Contest. Do you have a picture of a National Forest you are particularly proud of? Enter the National Forest Week™ Photo Contest for the chance to win great prizes!
  • Share Your Story. Share your photos, adventures, and appreciation for National Forests with the rest of the world using #NationalForestWeek.
  • Join the Conversation. Join us for a live #ParkChat on Twitter, Wednesday, July 12 at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT for a conversation about National Forests!
  • Gear up. Support National Forests in style with a limited-edition tee and poster! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the NFF to protect and enhance forest health.
  • Give back. Love National Forests and Grasslands? Make a gift that will support forest health for years to come so these incredible places can continue to provided us with resources and wonder.

Yes, National Forest Week is one week this July; but, we hope that you'll celebrate your local National Forest or Grassland as much as possible and immerse yourself in the great outdoors! There's so much to explore, you never know what you might find out there.
