We are officially OPEN for the winter 2022/23 season! Guests enjoyed bluebird, sunny skies and plenty of fresh corduroy and soft snow to kick off our favorite time of year. Take a photo tour below!
Looking ahead, a favorable storm is set to impact the Tetons over the next 10 days beginning tomorrow, Nov. 26. We could see 3 FEET of fresh snow by Dec. 4. If you haven't already, subscribe to the Jackson Hole page on OpenSnow.
With this burst of snow, we anticipate announcing more terrain openings in the near future. If you haven't secured your on-snow days yet, now is a great time to do-so.
We hope you were able to join us in kicking off another amazing winter in Jackson Hole. If not, we hope you'll come visit us at another time this season!

Opening Day 2022
Only 3 days until opening and we can't wait! Lifts start spinning at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 25. With a natural snowfall season total of 82" and incredible efforts by our snowmakers to maximize the recent cold temps, we are set for an exciting opening weekend.
Sweetwater Gondola, Teewinot, Aprés Vous, Teton and Casper lifts are all ready to open Friday morning.
Thunder: The Next Era
The next era for Thunder. The new lift is 2X the speed of the old with a ride time of just 3.5 minutes, helping you maximize your time on-snow.
Snow is Falling in Jackson Hole
Yet another early season storm arrived in Jackson Hole on Friday, Nov. 4 and since then, JHMR has received over 37" of snow! After a spectacular bluebird day revealed glistening white slopes on Sunday, Nov. 6, we are back in the wintery flow.
Jackson Hole Backcountry Skiing: Everything You Need to Know
Get ready to create life-long memories at Jackson Hole this winter. Exit the Resort through the boundary gates and ski or snowboard into a world where your wildest dreams come true. Ditch your perception of a typical resort experience--how does an early Tram ride sound?--and let our expert Backcountry Guides steer you into the Tetons, towards shimmering fields of untouched powder, immersive tree-skiing, or adrenaline-pumping big-mountain lines. You might not remember all your backcountry ski trips, but you'll definitely remember your first one.
Through the Lens: Stephen Shelesky
Reflecting on seeing Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the first time in 2016, I felt an overwhelming sense that possibilities were vast and endless. Wide-eyed and a bit naïve, I solely envisioned the long-awaited fulfillment of my dreams as I stepped off the Aerial Tram at the summit. Immediately, I knew this place would transform my life. I also knew it was exactly where I was supposed to be, an elusive feeling many in their early twenties yearn to feel.
