The snow just doesn't want to stop here at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We were blessed with 5" of fresh snow yesterday morning, followed by 5" overnight and another 10" today. This brings our season snow total to 282" with more in the forecast. That's over 23 feet of snow! Here's some stats to put this year's conditions into perspective (as of 1/11/2023):
- Our 282" total snowfall is 141% of the historical average (200").
- We have an 87" snow depth vs our average of 68".
- Snow water equivalent in the Upper Snake River Basin is 117% of normal.
Yesterday, it was hard to decide whether the view or the fresh snow was more magical. The chairlift transported skiers through the clouds, leaving them with clear visibility and a stunning view of the "Sea of Dreams."
Today, the heavy snowfall obscured the view, but knee-deep powder made you forget a view even mattered.
We have more snow in the forecast and with February historically seeing the best snow conditions, we're primed for an amazing Kings & Queens of Corbet's competition. Come ski these prime conditions and watch Kings & Queens live, in person. Secure your lift tickets in advance to save up to 10%.
