The snow did not let up in March and this Saturday was no exception. Rahzel & Roots Disciples faced days of weather-related travel delays but pushed on to play at our unforgettable location under the iconic Aerial Tram. DJ marco flexx built up the crowd and kept them entertained while everyone waited it out for the arrival of the night's main act.
With fresh beats from DJ marco flexx, satisfying après options at RPK3, a White Claw tent and a snow bar, all after an exhilarating day of skiing pow, the energy level remained high and a game of limbo broke out in the crowd.
After beelining it from the airport, three-time Grammy winner, long-time member of The Roots and undisputed world Beat Box Champion, Rahzel, took to the stage and put on a killer full-length performance. This pioneer of beatboxing did not disappoint and amazed the crowd with his ability to somehow produce, with just his mouth, both the beat and the chorus at the SAME TIME.

Skiers and snowboarders rejoiced for another week of powder, but unfortunately, the snowfall again impacted travel of a heavily anticipated performance, and 40 Oz to Freedom was unable to fly in to wow the crowd with their award-winning Sublime tribute. In their place, Waist Deep, a rock and reggae band from Jackson Hole, filled in and kept the vibes high with a top-tier performance, while the sun came out and provided the crowd with a glimpse of spring weather.

Andrew Bees of the Grammy-winning Reggae group, Black Uhuru, took the stage with King Hopeton and Zimbabwe afro-pop star Zivanai Masango for a sunny afternoon that mentally transported the crowd from the powder-filled slopes to a warm Jamaican beach. White Claw completed the beach feeling with free samples of their delicious new flavors.

Genre-bending performances from Polyrhythmics and Strumbucket showcased the pure talent of each individual musician and closed out the 2023 Road to Rendezvous.
Polyrthymics's unique brand of psych-funk penetrated the soul and pleasantly surprised the audience as the sound gracefully shifted from note to note.
Strumbucket has become a crowd favorite in Teton Village after playing at last winter's Music Under the Tram and last summer's Concerts on the Commons. Their twang-funk quintet stirred up a sonic sound that reverberated through the crowd for a perfect end to this year's Road to Rendezvous.

Night 2 of Rendezvous Spring Festival takes place on Saturday in Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Make sure to get there early for the chance to win a 2024 VIP Rendezvous vacation at the Rendezvous Costume Contest judged by SkiiTour at the end of their set. Dumpstaphunk and Futurebirds will follow before the final two acts of the night take the stage. The bold, award-winning, Elle King will get the crowd amped up for the final performer of this year's festival: Grammy and Oscar-winning artist, Ryan Bingham, who has hit screens across the world on the award-winning tv series, Yellowstone.

2023 Rendezvous Recap
This year's Rendezvous Spring Festival sure was one to remember. Our yearly music festival has been around since 2007, but the hype surrounding this year's event was like no other. Read on to view photos from both nights.
Snowiest Winter Ever at Jackson Hole
That's a wrap for the record-setting 2022-23 winter season at Jackson Hole. 595" of snow fell making this winter the snowiest, deepest ever recorded in Rendezvous Bowl! These past months have raced by, fueled by fresh flakes cascading onto our slopes and ample time sliding on snow. The "Teton trickle" felt more like a firehose at times, and the sun was most-elusive. March was miraculous and we though it best to put how absurdly snowy last month was into perspective (read more).
