Riding the Jackson Hole Bike Park is a must-do experience while in Jackson Hole. This Park has something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned riders.

The Best Starter Trail

Lucky Charm is the best trail for beginners. The windy path allows everyone, regardless of ability level, to build basic skills and improve their riding. The longest wood feature (a winding bridge through a rock garden) in the Resort is located on this trail. The path cuts across the mountain so you can get eyes on a few of the other trails and get to know your surroundings. The berms are mellow with small hits that set the stage and groundwork for learning how to jump.

The Best Jump Line

Choosing the best jump line is difficult and there are many highly-qualified candidates for this prestigious title, but the clear winner is True Grit. The trail is easily accessed from either the Teewinot lift or the Sweetwater Gondola (via Deer Jump into Solitoga or just Solitoga). Besides its easy accessibility, it has the most jump features of any trail on the mountain. Huge shout out to our hard-working trail crew on this one. Each jump has smooth, continuous, groomed landings and takeoffs. This is a black diamond-level trail, but its manicured paths allow riders to coast down the trail between jumps. True Grit is a must-try if you enjoy soaring through the air.

The Best Technical Trail

What makes a trail technical or “techy” as the mountain bikers say? A technical trail is determined by the number of obstacles that are in play on the trail. How narrow is the path? How steep is it? How many exposures (sudden drops or trails near a cliff edge) are present? How many man-made features are there (ramps, etc.)? What is the size of rocks and tree roots? The higher the volume of “obstacles” on a run the more “techy” the trail becomes. Dirty Harry or as some refer to it as “Scary Harry” has a high volume of techy features. It is steep with large rocks and bulging tree roots that will put your navigation ability at high speeds to the test. Combined with the man-made drops and steep exposures and you have the best technical trail at Jackson Hole. For those who want to test their treads, Dirty Harry is the trail for you. This is the most challenging trail we have to offer and is designed for expert-level riders.

The Best Flow Trail

The best flow trail is undoubtedly Deepest Darkest. Ride up the Sweetwater Gondola and drop in only a few pedal strokes away. It carves its way down the mountain with the steepest flow line this mountain has to offer. Its universal design allows riders and adaptive riders alike to zoom down the trail, testing their ability to corner the berms and offers unique and breathtaking views of the valley below. Deepest Darkest has a few rolling jumps that add an extra challenge to the course. The lower section of this trail was finished this summer (2023) and it won't dissapoint you.

An honorable mention in the best flow trail category goes to Deepest Darkest’s little brother: Bronco. Bronco is a blue flow trail and is significantly less steep than Deepest Darkest. The amount of berm turns provides an ample amount of practice to ensure you have the skills needed to progress your biking game. You can ride Bronco from the top of Teewinot.

The Best On-Trail Views

Beginning atop the Sweetwater Gondola, Solitoga winds its way east across the mountain going nearly to the Resort's boundary. It has a moderate pitch, but plenty to provide speed to fly over tabletop jumps. Be prepared to ride a while, this trail showcases incredible views to the east and the south. It's not super technical, but does provide some tight turns and fast flow sections that require acute navigational skills. The views from the switchbacks display the valley in all its glory, but don't get too distracted! This trail offers the most expansive views of any trail and is a great blue square-level trail to acquaint yourself with the nearly 1,300' of vert accessible off of Sweetwater.

These are just out top five, but we have 13 trails for you to explore. Fired up to go biking? Grab a bike park ticket and go find your flow.
