This week, cold temps and precipitation in the high alpine provided a fresh blanket of snow across the Tetons. When the sun finally broke, Jackson Hole was rewarded with breathtaking views of glistening white peaks and prismatic foliage shimmering at lower elevations. Autumn here is a special time, when seasons collide and we get to observe the much-anticipated transition to winter. Though we'll miss the long, warm summer days, winter is when we thrive.
