Things to Do
Take in the Views
Go sightseeing and soak in the awesome beauty with 360-degree views of the Tetons. From the top of the iconic Aerial Tram, travelers can access hiking trails, viewing platforms, and delicious snacks (like our world-famous gourmet waffles). Your sightseeing ticket also grants you access to the Bridger and Sweetwater Gondolas. Scroll down to learn more about our offerings atop Bridger.
Biking
Challenge by choice: either mountain bike the trails at our Bike Park--trails are for any level of experience (take a lesson if you're new!) and nearly all are adaptive-compatible--or take a scenic e-bike ride along the designated bike trail between the town of Jackson and Teton Village. Mountain bike rentals can be found at JH Sports at the base of the bike park and e-bike/pathway rentals can be found at Teton Village Sports or Hoback Sports and returned to either shop, regardless of where it was originally picked up.
Grand Teton National Park
Exploring the incredible Grand Teton National Park is a must. We suggest waking up early to beat the crowds. (Bonus points if you drive the Moose-Wilson Road and enter the park at the Granite Canyon entrance less than 1 mile from Teton Village, keep your eye out for friendly wildlife as you drive along this road).
Make your way onto the scenic Teton Park Road and take in the panoramic views of the Tetons as you journey into the park.
Walk around Jenny Lake, stop at the lookout point, or take a ferry boat across and you'll see why it is named one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.
Bradley Lake and Taggart Lake make for great family hikes with stellar views of the Teton Mountain Range.
If you want to take a swim, hike down to Phelps Lake and jump in the refreshing water.
Climbing
Whether you're a seasoned climber or just an adventurous spirit looking for the easiest access to climbing in the Tetons, the Jackson Hole Via Ferrata is an incredible experience. An expert guide will guide you up routes (there are 15 to choose from) suitable for your ability or interest level, leading you on a climbing adventure like no other. This is perfect for families, couples, groups, or solo adventurers. Check out our video, Via Ferrata 3.0 for an in-depth look at the climbing area and our newest routes.
Did you know? Via Ferrata, translated as "iron way," dates back to WWI. Italian soldiers built via ferratas to safely traverse mountain passes. The recreational use of via ferratas is a staple in the Alps for summer adventure, and Jackson Hole is excited to bring this experience to the Tetons.
Hike
Hit the trails and experience the native flora and fauna of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem along the hiking trails in Teton Village. The best part: customize any hike to your ability level with gondolas that take you up, down, or midway on any hike. All gondola and tram rides down are free. You can hike into the Bridger Teton National Forest from the top of the Aerial Tram, too.
Fly
Soar through the skies on a paraglide ride over the ski slopes with incredible views of Grand Teton National Park and the valley. You tandem paragliding experience with Jackson Hole Paragliding takes off from either the Bridger Gondola or the summit of Rendezvous Mountain, steps from the Aerial Tram and Corbet's Cabin. You don't want to miss the views; we recommend an early morning flight, it's quite tranquil (and exhilarating)!
Special for Kids
If traveling with younger kids, lower mountain favorites like the ropes course, climbing wall, bungee trampoline, and wild woods play area are always a hit; or, sign the kids up for the best day ever at Grand Adventure Camp while the parents explore on their own.
Play a Round of Disc Golf
Challenge by choice: play a round of golf at one of the five golf courses in the Jackson Hole area or play a round of disc golf at the Teton Village course. Discs can be purchased or rented from JH Sports.
Dining
Piste Mountain Bistro
Ride an evening gondola and enjoy the most scenic sunset dinner overlooking the valley at Piste Mountain Bistro (don’t forget to make reservations ahead of time).
The Deck
The best view in Jackson Hole can be found at The Deck. Take a ride on the Bridger Gondola up to this outdoor restaurant and bar to enjoy mountain and valley views.

While at the summit of Jackson Hole's legendary Aerial Tram, don’t forget to snag a Top of the World waffle at Corbet Cabin!
