What is single pitch climbing?
Single pitch climbing is a traditional style of vertical travel on rock using a single rope. Using only your hands and feet, the climber moves upwards navigating the terrain utilizing the rock's natural features. The guide facilitates this experience with a roped belay system. With four main routes and infinite variations (climber’s choice!), single pitch climbing offers a unique Teton experience anchored by the expertise of your guide.
How it works
The guided rock climbing experience is a collection of climbing routes with permanent anchors for top rope climbing. Climbers wear a harness and specialty shoes allowing them to move autonomously along the routes. The guide has each climber on a roped belay system. Closely connected, the guide coaches the climber on terrain choice as they ascend.
